Reduce Caffeine. Whether it comes from coffee or tea, you need to reduce the amount that you are drinking to slow down the stimulant in the brain. If you are feeling jittery and anxious when you drink cups of coffee, stop drinking so much.
Start A Journal. Writing your feelings down is a great way to learn what’s going to be stressful for you. Jotting down what you are feeling good about and grateful for can really help you to focus on what you are stressed about and you release that stress as you write.
Pick Up A Hobby. Stress creates a nervous energy and choosing to pick up an active hobby to burn that energy can really help. Not only this, but a hobby will allow you to be more sociable with people and develop a sense of community.
Laugh. Whether you are going to see a comedian, you want to watch a funny sitcom or you’re planning to meet up with friends, make sure that you’re laughing. Laughing helps you to reduce your tension by relaxing your muscles and it can also reduce your response to stress.
