Nearly everybody loves a warm vacation. There’s nothing quite like jetting off to some sun soaked coastline for a couple of weeks to forgot about work and unwind. That being said, you might find yourself craving something a little more exciting from your next trip. Maybe you still want to enjoy the heat but you don’t want to go to the same all-inclusive hotel for the fifth year in a row. After all, you have an opportunity to explore new places and see new things when you travel. If you want to really make the most of your next adventure then here are some of the best trips for those who want to bask in the sun.
A coastal vacation.
Obviously, an adventure to the coast is perfect for anyone who wants to enjoy the sun and admire the natural beauty of the ocean. But you’ve probably been to the coast of your home country and other places on countless occasions. How can you switch things up for your upcoming coastal vacation? Well, rather than simply picking any sufficient beach with room for a sun lounger, you should pick an iconic location with something special to offer. The Great Barrier Reef off the coast of Queensland in Australia is one perfect example. Not only is it spectacular on the surface but in the depths of the reef system too. If you try out a diving experience then you’ll get to see terrific wildlife unlike anything you’ve seen before.
A city break.
Of course, you don’t necessarily have to jet off to some sizzling coastline destination or warm ocean waters in order to have a fantastic sunny trip. For those who want to bask in the sun and do some sightseeing, a city break might be the perfect getaway option for you this year. There are plenty of incredible cities around the globe that have a wonderful balance of warm weather and things to do; spectacular cities such as LA, Las Vegas, and Miami are perfect examples. With regards to Miami, you might want to check out Anthony Markofsky for some suggestion as to things to see and do. His site offers a lot of information about the Miami lifestyle. It offers stunning beaches, and Disneyworld isn’t too far away (Orlando is in the same state, after all).
L.A. is a very similar city; it offers pristine beaches known across the world (Venice Beach and Santa Monica Beach). It also offers some Disney attractions at Universal Studios. Of course, it’s also the home to the mesmerizing Griffith Observatory. This architectural masterpiece overlooks the city of Los Angeles. You can actually admire the skyline from a breathtaking vantage point if you climb the steps to reach the roof of the building. Still, if you’re looking for hot weather away from the coast then Las Vegas might be your best option. Casinos, theatrical shows, fine dining, and endless shops; the city has everything.
A cruise.
If you’re looking for the perfect blend of a relaxing beachside vacation and a sightseeing extravaganza then you should definitely consider going on a cruise. You can relax on a lounger to soak up some rays, have a few cocktails at the bar (most cruises are all-inclusive), and enjoy entertainment in the evening. Unlike other vacations, of course, you won’t be static. The ship will sail to different shores on a constant basis, and you’ll have the opportunity to explore plenty of new places.
