Where Are You Going?

If you died today, where would you go? Where are you going? This is a very real question that should be seriously considered. Life is short and incredibly fragile. You never know when a day will be your last. In fact, your eternity rests upon the answer to that question. The truth is you are going to heaven or you are going to hell.

Most people don’t like to think about this question and distract themselves with “fun” and work and many other things. They don’t like to think about death and life after death. Many young people feel as though they have plenty of time to “straighten up” later in life and choose to live life with a care-free approach.

I want you to know that this is not really living. For, you never truly live without God in your life. In John 11:25-26, Jesus said “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever live and believes in me will never die.”

Please consider this pressing question.

For God so loved the world that He gave his one and only Son. Whoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16

“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going.” Thomas said to him, “Lord, we don’t know where you are going, so how can we know the way?” Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” John 14:1-6
