Take His Hand

We can all agree that we don’t deserve the love and grace God has given us. Some of us let that discourage us. We know we can never possibly live a sinless life and we will never be good enough. You are good enough. Yes, you fail God sometimes, and you always will. But, he doesn’t ask you to be perfect, he just asks that you do your best to follow his commands and honor Him. Take his hand.

If you are stuck in a rut and you are too ashamed to ask God for help, don’t be. If you feel like you’ve failed so much and it seems impossible to get back to where you need to be in your relationship with Him, know that it is not impossible. God meets you where you are. He is always with you. You’re the one who walked away, not Him. He has been right beside you the whole way with His hand stretched out waiting for you to grab it.

Take His hand. He will lead you if you let Him. Nothing you have done or will do will make Him love you any less.

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 2 Corinthians 12:9

“Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” Hebrews 13:5 [a]
